It is May and our Grade 12 students are in the midst of taking their final exams and preparing for graduation, as well as their lives after WAB. Our 72 graduating students have a broad range of plans for next year. Some are taking a gap year to study Chinese in Beijing, while others are traveling or volunteering with NGO’s. Whether they are going directly to tertiary education or taking a gap year, the majority of students from the Class of 2008 submitted college applications.

PTA Spring Book Fair, Friday May 16
Stock up on summer reading, foreign language books and bookworm classics at the PTA Spring Book Fair, Friday May 16, 8:00am - 5:00pm, ES Library. This spring sale is open to the entire WAB community, with a wide selection of books for readers of all ages. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the PTA's Visiting Author Series.
WAB Hosts Over 450 Young Athletes for ISAC Track and Field Event
For the 9th year running, WAB will host ES athletes from nine international schools across Beijing and Tianjin for the annual ES Track and Field International Schools Athletics Conference (ISAC) on Friday May 9.
MS Presents a Fabled Performance
Congratulations to the MS Drama Department on their extraordinary peformance of "A Village Fable." From the lighting and sound to costumes, stage design and directing, to the music, acting, and all round superb performances, congratulations on a wonderful production!
Exam Time in the HS
The week of May 12 - 16 is Exam/ Assessment week for Grades 9 - 11. Students are reminded to eat a balanced diet and get plenty of rest in preparation for exams!

PTA Charity Committee Now Collecting Adult Bikes & Blankets
From May 12 - 22, the PTA will be collecting used adult bikes for the children of Sun Village, and clean, gently used blankets for local migrant workers.
