On the last Saturday of March, WAB hosted a workshop on Teaching Chinese as a Second Language for 23 Chinese teachers from seven international schools around the Beijing area. The workshop, which focused on teaching reading and writing, was led by Li Ping of Hong Kong United World College.
"Li Ping shared lots of her own authentic teaching materials with the teachers and answered questions related to Mandarin B,
which was very helpful to all. And now it looks as though this workshop may lead to a follow-up session, at ISB, with a focus on the Mandarin A track," said Wang Wenjing, China Studies Coordinator.
