Every closing of the school year is a time where many international families must move on to their next posting or simply head back to their home country. In order to properly bid farewell to over 100 students, staff and their families, but to also acknowledge and thank them for their continued support of the WAB Community, and to stay in touch with the WAB Alumni Network (WAN), the Alumni Office hosted The WAB Leavers Ceremony in the High School KOI Garden at the end of May.
Both WAB's Deputy Director, Karen O'Connell, and Alumni Officer, Richard Liu, were present to speak to the 40 families, as the students, staff and their families enjoyed some light refreshments, while taking family photos and signing each others' new alumni t-shirts.
We wish them all the best with their transition and look forward to welcoming them back to visit WAB, or seeing them at the alumni reunions in their corner of the world.
