A college tour to the USA is being planned during the spring break of the 2008/2009 school year. From March 14 - March 21, 2009, participating students and parents will experience a first-hand look at colleges and universities and meet with admissions representatives. The tour will enable students to get a sense of what the colleges have to offer and provide an opportunity to have their questions answered.
Plans are to originate in Boston and will include colleges and universities such as: Boston University, Emerson College, or MIT; Harvard University, Boston College, or Northeastern University; Tufts University, Wellesley College, or Babson College; Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, Wheaton College, or Providence College; Columbia University, Fordham University, or Barnard College; New York University, Parsons School of Design, or Sarah Lawrence College; University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, or Swarthmore College; Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, or Villanova University; Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College or Loyola College; Georgetown University or George Washington University; American University or University of Maryland.
Students interested should see Mr. Greg Bishop or Dr. Cheryl Travers in the HS Guidance office, or email them at gbishop@wab.edu or ctravers@wab.edu.
