WAB's hosted two college fairs this week in the High School, as well as several workshops focused on assisting HS students as they prepare to apply for colleges and universities.
On Tuesday, the CIS-Linden College Tour brought close to 30 undergraduate universities to campus to lead workshops with Grade 12 students, followed by a College Fair in the HS Gym. During the fair, Grade 11 and 12 students had a chance to ask questions of admissions experts about their general post-high school plans and applying to universities in the United States, in particular.
The Linden Arts & Design Tour held a College Fair on Friday during the lunch period. WAB students had the opportunity to speak wtih representatives from US and Canadian universities that offer art and design undergraduate programs.
While fairs create a heightened opportunity for students and parents to gather lots of information at once, individual university and college visits offer other unique opportunities for students and parents to ask questions about specific programs, as well as more general questions about applications and courses of study.
Throughout the year, WAB counselors will be hosting many, many representatives from colleges and universities from around the world. Check Lianxi for upcoming dates, or contact Michelle Chow, HS Counseling Intern, at mchow@wab.edu for more details.
