Easing Transitions
As the school year winds down, and end-of-year activities increase, so does our excitement, and, in some cases, apprehension, for the coming year. Some of us are preparing to transition to other regions and schools, including all leaving families, teachers and staff, as well as our Grade 12 students. Others of us, including Pre-K, Grade 5 and Grade 8 students and their parents, are entering a period of transition from one school section to the next. All of us, however, are entering a period of transition as we acknowledge the end of another school year.

Who is My HS Counselor for the 2008/2009 School Year?
Beginning with the 2008/2009 school year, HS Counselors will be advising and supporting students based on an alphabetical system, rather than the grade level system in place this school year. This means that all students with a surname beginning with a letter between A - H will be advised by Dr. Cheryl Travers. All students with I - Q surnames will be advised by Greg Bishop. And all R - Z students will be advised by WAB's incoming new HS Counselor Aleka Bilan.
