| ES parents are invited to come along and cheer on the hundreds of young athletes who'll be gathering on the WAB Sports Fields for the ISAC event on Friday afternoon. |
For the 9th year running, WAB will host over 450 young athletes from nine international schools across Beijing and Tianjin for an afternoon of track and field events through the annual Elementary School International Schools Athletics Conference (ISAC) on Friday May 9.
When WABX-ES Coordinator Derek Davies first organized this competition nine years ago, the only participating schools were WAB and BISS. Since then the event has steadily grown, with a total of nine schools now involved.
A total of 60 WAB Grade 3 – 5 students will be participating in the competition. They qualified to compete in the ISAC event by participating in the ES Olympic Dream Series and have been training every morning break and every lunchtime for the last month.
