Across the school, students have taken action on their compassion for the students and families or Sichuan who were affected by the earthquake. Last week, WAB's youngest classmates gathered on the WAB Track for a Walk-a-Thon. Donning trainers and sun visors, students circled the track, counting each lap with pride. One PKU student, Jasmin, ran, walked and marched a total of 1,600 meters, or four laps, as part of the ECC Walk-a-thon, raising 13,000 RMB for Earthquake Relief.
Her mother, Marion, exclaimed, "We were very impressed. We also appreciated how Miss Lynn encouraged all of the children and motivated them."
