The Olympic Dream: The Legacy at WAB

Take a chance, play sports!

As I walked from the PE office to the Lotus Lounge on the first day of school, three students ran up to me  and said, “What will happen to the Olympic Dream Series now?”

It was a poignant reminder of the impact the Olympics had left with the students at WAB.

The results of the ES Olympic Dream Series far exceeded even WAB's high expectations. The Olympic Dream Series showed just how much could be achieved with the right amount of investment and desire. It became clear that what had evolved from the Olympic idea should become an integral part of WAB life for all Elementary students in years to come.

WAB is very pleased to announce that WAB’s Sporting Chance Series will commence on September 16. The aim of the series is to allow greater exposure to athletic activity through innovative formats, give the opportunity for talented athletes to get closer to their personal potential and give children the opportunity to discover the multitude of benefits that a sporting life offers.

WAB has always been an innovator in the field of Physical Education and extra curricula activities (WAB ES-X). The creation of a position of the WAB ES-X Coordinator aimed at the development of Elementary students was a bold move.
