Dr. Evil comes to WAB for Grade 3 - 5 Culmination Adventure Challenge Days, Tuesday October 14 - Thursday October 16.

International Schools Assessment

On Thursday October 9 and Friday October 10, WAB students in Grades 3, 5, 7 and 10 will participate in the ISA's.

Seeking ES Tutors

The ES Counselors occasionally receive requests from parents seeking tutors for their children in maths, writing and other subjects. If you would like to make your tutoring services available, please contact the ES Counseling office by emailing Julie Yu, ES Counseling Assistant, at julie_yu@wab.edu.

ES School Photos

Please note that ES School Photos have been rescheduled for the week of October 13 - October 17.

ES Parent Post Day

In efforts to further streamline school-to-parent communication, the ES will be trialing a Parent Post Day. Every Wednesday, students will be sent home with any hard copies of information for parents for the week.

Note on Toothbrushing

Any parents who wish for their children to brush their teeth during break or lunchtime are welcome to send toothbrushes and toothpaste to school with their children. Please note that children who brush their teeth at school are responsible for their own dental care and upkeep of materials.

The Olympic Dream: The Legacy at WAB

WAB is very pleased to announce that WAB’s Sporting Chance Series will commence on September 16. The aim of the series is to allow greater exposure to athletic activity through innovative formats, give the opportunity for talented athletes to get closer to their personal potential and give children the opportunity to discover the multitude of benefits that a sporting life offers.

ES Open House

All ES parents are welcome to attend the upcoming ES Open House nights. The ES welcomes ECC - Grade 1 parents on Tuesday September 16 and Grade 2 - Grade 5 parents on Thursday September 18.

Very Hungry Caterpillar Feeds Students' Love for Reading

ECC, Kindergarten and Grade 1 Students began the week meeting their all-time favourite Caterpillar ... who was STILL hungry! WAB were lucky to enjoy one of &quot;The Very Hungry Caterpillar&quot;'s six appearances in Beijing.

ES Instrumental Music Program

This year WAB is once again offering students the chance to access private instruction on musical instruments through our after hours ES Instrumental Program for Grade 2 - 5 students.

Young Filmmakers Rated Winners

Congratulations to WAB's 2007/2008 KGM class and to ES student Caitlin on the success of their original films in the HKIS Virtual Film Festival. Out of 70 student films submitted, WAB students claimed two of the top prizes in the categories of How To and Animation.
