International Day Thanks!

A big thank you to the PTA and the parents for organizing the International Day classroom lunches! The food was delicious, diverse and much appreciated. A special thanks to Marie Bucher and homeroom parents for coordinating and overseeing the food presentation. As well, thank you to the parents for organizing and delivering a range of well-planned and exciting activities that the classes responded to enthusiastically.

ES Welcomes Narelle Oliver

The WAB ES welcomes Narelle Oliver as the PTA Visiting Author/Illustrator during Book Week, November 17 - 21. Narelle will be leading workshops and working with ES students throughout the week. Her books will also be available at the PTA Book Sale.

ES International Day

WAB's Youngest Family Member

Congratulations to Laura Bradshaw (Grade 4 Teacher) and Sheldon Bradshaw (ES ICT) on the birth of their second child. Quinn Asher Bradshaw was born on Tuesday October 28, measuring 52 cm and 3.76 kg.

Parents Build Dream Learning Centers...Using PYP Maths!

ECC and ES parents experienced mathematics from the point of view of their children during a workshop on Thinking Mathematically in the PYP on Tuesday.

ES Swimming

The Elementary School swimming block 1 ends Friday October 31. We, the swim instructors and the ES PE staff, enjoyed working with our youngest students and saw great improvement in their stroke development.

Is Your Child Represented?

At this year’s ES International Day assembly (Monday November 10) there will be a display of flags and we would like to ensure that all nationalities in the elementary school are represented.
