| Robert joins the ECC for a Sing-a-Long |
WAB parents will have the opportunity to meet the visiting Accreditation Team, comprised of representatives from CIS, NEASC, IB and NCCT, during the team's visit over the week of October 20. The Accreditation Team will hold a parent meeting (date to be announced) for the purpose of asking parents questions about the school, including parents' thoughts on the school's everyday practices in relation to accreditation standards.
On Monday October 20, the PTA executive committee will be asked to join WAB staff and Board members for a welcome reception for the visiting team. Due to time and space constraints, we are not able to invite all parents to this reception; however, as mentioned above, all parents are welcome to attend the question and answer session organized by the visiting team.
We are also grateful to the many parents who served on individual committees last year that produced our informative self-study. If time permits, those parents may also be asked to meet with the team.
On Friday October 24, WAB staff, administration and the Board will attend a presentation given by the visiting Accreditation Team Chair. The Chair will outline some of the major commendations and recommendations from the visiting team's report. A synopsis of this report will be published the following week for parents to share in the important information the team will be giving us as we plan for the future.
