Congratulations to Grade 11 student Monica, whose MYP Personal Project, Some People, Many People, will be highlighted in a new IB publication entitled 50 Excellent Personal Projects. Monica's work will be featured alongside other IB students from around the world who achieved a grade 7 on their projects and whose work "will be a helpful resource for students in completing their own personal projects" according to the IB publication's editor.

Monica's personal project advistor, Jordan Marsh, a MS English Teacher, shared his enthusiasm for her work: "Working with Monica throughout the Personal Project process was a pleasure.  She is a highly motivated person with high expectations of her own work, and she has a kind and honest desire to help the world in whatever way she can.  While she demonstrated dedication to do her best at all times, our meetings were nevertheless very relaxed in the sense that we could approach the tasks at hand with a sense of humor and enjoyment.  I am very proud of the work that Monica produced, and I'm confident that she will continue to make a difference in the world in the future, regardless of what she chooses to do."
