Two MS Students Star in Community Production of Oliver

Oliver the Musical is coming to town! It is a fantastic version of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, with music by Lional Bart. What makes this version even better is that two of WAB's Grade 8 students are in it: Aaron and Rohie. Aaron has landed the lead role of Oliver Twist. Both of these talented students have been heavily involved in WAB Middle School Choir and Middle School Drama productions for the past three years. Last year both of them starred in our first Middle School Musical 'A Kidsummer Night's Dream' and they were both in this year's MS Play 'A Village Fable'. They have participated in the half-yearly Music Showcases and just recently sang in the successful MS Choir and Jazz Band Concert in the Blu Theatre. This has been on top of a rigorous rehearsal schedule for 'Oliver,' which is an indication of just how much these two students love the Performing Arts. The MS MAD department is organizing a trip to see the opening night of this production and we would like to wish these two young thespians the best of luck in their endeavors.

Oliver the Musical runs from May 29 - June 1 at the Peoples' Liberation Army Theatre.
