Dinner with an Artist

The WAB community is invited to Dinner with an Artist, an exhibition of Grade 8 artwork currently on display in the HUB. MS Art Teacher Sarah McCarrison describes the project as a "great way for students to learn about the history of art from around the world and also to use their creativity."

Battle of the Books

The 2008/2009 season of the Battle of the Books is about to be launched in Beijing. This year it will be even bigger and better, with the “Friendly Competition” now open to a wider age range of students to include all those interested in reading from Grades 8 to 11.

MS Students, Sharpen Your Pencils!

The WAB MS welcomes PTA visiting author/ illustrator Sally Rippin for Book Week, November 17 - 21. Sally will be leading writing and drawing workshops for MS students throughout the week, and her books will be available during the PTA Book Fair.

MS Celebrates MOYA

October is the Month of the Young Adolescent (MOYA), during which we recognise young adolescents and celebrate our MS students' unique contributions to WAB. 

MS Roots & Shoots Dotes on Cats

MS Roots and Shoots members visited the BHAEEC animal shelter recently, where students were welcomed by cats and dogs that are cared for by a private charity which promotes adoption.

Rituals

As a culmination to a Grade 6 Drama unit, students will present their original Rituals performances in the Out of Box Theatre on Monday and Tuesday afternoons at 3:30pm.

WAB Wild Family Trek

MS and HS students and their parents are invited to pack a picnic, don a fleece and discover the beauty of the Miyun Mountains on a WAB Wild MS HS Family Trek on Sunday November 23.
