The WAB girls' rugby teams had their first games of the season on Friday 12th September at ISB. The Varsity girls played a fantastic match against ISB with the result 5-5. It was a tremendous display of rugby skills, particularly in the scrum and around the ruck and maul area. The JV team also displayed excellent skills in their first match against ISB. The result was a win to ISB 10-5. The JV team displayed some excellent tackling skills in this close, tightly fought match. A special congratulations to all our new rugby players this year - Mikaela Chan, Laura Sarrikka, Rohie Whiteside, Marie Ballesteros, Suzanna van der Ploeg, Iris Treffers and Joi Chu-Ketter who all had a fantastic start to the season. Keep up the great work girls!!! All the best for your tournament at ISB this weekend.
