The 2008 Varsity Table Tennis final team was selected on September 16, and the team is now training every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons with an eye towards the ACAMIS and ISAC tournaments at the end of the season. Coach Gerber has a highly dedicated group this year and he is confident that they will bring back some hardware at both of these tournaments. The team is led by returning senior Tine, who won gold at both of last years tournaments in the girls singles division. Tine is joined by some excellent newcomers to the team, including students ranging from Grades 9 through 11 with a variety of backgrounds and hitting styles, which should make for an excellent season.
